What we have to offer:
Fun learning: We plan different events to our ‘undead’ theme. We're not very strict, but we'd like to get member participation to help bring people together to learn about various undead species and the culture that has shaped their interest. Our club is event-based, but our infrequent meetings can be great fun.
Special Interest: We combat the pressures of a MV lifestyle by gathering together people with different interests to help them bond through their hobbies. Computer gamers and writers are some of the many people that can find their place with MV Undead Awareness, or UAC.
Easygoing atmosphere: Basically, we're a group of MV kids just wanting to meet and hang out with other MV kids; in a themed environment of course!
Literal vs. Figurative Interpretation...?
As you can see in the chart to the right, we're a club of different ideas and passions. It's clear that we're not merely hyped up zombie nerds, but it's not yet clear what the figurative side of the spectrum means either.
What we mean is that 'undead' is a term that can be taken both literally, as in the actual portrayal of undead creatures, or figuratively, as in the feeling of undeath within oneself. MV UAC is a service club in a way, as we live to serve the students of Monta Vista to provide a method of expression to communicate our mutual interests.
